We recommend the astonishing "Hamembert" plate with Mangalitsa ham, oozing wedges of Camembert cheese, and an artfully charred length of baguette. -Los Angeles Times

Jam. Try anything with the housemade jam here! The scones are amazing, as well as the rice porridge. For full review of this place, please check out my food blog www.gofindalice.com/blog/sqirl-la 🍴 -Go Find Alice

Every single menu item is delicious. If you can't decide, anything topped with jam will be a winner. -Serious Eats

Get the toasted Proof brioche topped with sweet or savory ingredients, Thai-inspired salads or creamy porridge. Quiche and frittatas are also always good bets. -Los Angeles

Fantastic food...but horrible wait. If you are starving don't go on weekend post 10am. But do go. -Jorge

The creative genius behind Sqirl is Jessica Koslow. She is very down-to-earth and a lovely person. Make sure to say hello when you visit. -Jeffrey

Dishes were very simple yet packed with flavor. Only downside was the locale. Inside is small, hot and stuffy, outside is got flies that don't let you eat off the tables which are short, seat level. -Regina

Don't be intimidated by the line. It moves pretty fast. Don't miss the ricotta toast (w/generous ricotta) though it may come a little burnt. Order couple small items and share with a friend! -Melon

I don't usually eat brunch. But when I do, I Sqirl. -Elie

Amazing!!! -Bader

Try the Shakshouka! -china

Named Best Toast in our 2014 Best of LA issue! -LA Weekly

Four bucks nets you a thick slice of brioche topped with rich ricotta cheese & jam with options like raspberry-vanilla & blueberry-rhubarb. And it is actually worth those four dollars. Probably more. -Epicurious

The breakfast brioche with egg is life-changing. (Not said with exaggeration) -Caroline

Brioche with ricotta and blueberry rhubarb jelly. Yo!!!!! -Danny

Guittard Chocolate and Hazelnut Toast is *intense* and good to split. Try the brown rice porridge or anything that has a fried egg! -Amanda

The sorrel rice bowl was delicious (you might consider an extra egg), the buckwheat pancake was also unique, on the way out grab one of the coconut, date & seeds balls for a tasty treat with a coffee. -Ameen

A favorite for its atmosphere, the people and the great healthy mix of flavors. -Ameen

Turmeric tonic is incredible 😍💫 -Madeleine Alexandra

Make sure to try the sorrel pesto rice bowl & 24 hr cold brew! -Isabella
