Seriously underwhelmed. Server was bored/rude when asked for recommendations. Food was expensive for the size/taste. I hope their breakfasts are better because their dinner menu was disappointing. -Liante

$6 for half a can of baked beans. Still burping up the chicken wings! -James

Rude rude rude, bitches -Miko

The Country Cat is all about American food, prepared by a chef, Adam Sappington, who understands the nuances of old world cuisine. The fried chicken here is out of control. [Eater 38 Member] -Eater

One of the slowest restaurants in Portland. -Uber

Recommend to go on a week night. Love it. -Bruce

Been here for breakfast lunch and dinner. I keep trying to like it, but I've been disappointed every time. -Midnight

The WT breakfast is yummy! Their biscuits are the best. -Mindi

Skip the burger: tough, underseasoned and always well-done, regardless of what was ordered. Low point of an otherwise tasty menu. -Emma

Well from start to finish that was a pretty awful time. -Robert

Secretly uncrowded on Saturday mornings for brunch. Excellent service, especially if you grab a seat at the bar. Delicious Bloody Mary's. -Amber

Jerky is tasty, but chewy. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was good, not sure if I liked the bones in it though. -Rick

House made beef jerky = meat candy. -Rachael

Epic as always. Sausage is exceptional! -Danielle

12-1230 PM on Sundays the seats free up! -Ted

At this new eastside bastion of regional American cuisine, the Midwest and the Northwest collude on the plate. -Portland Monthly

Brunch! Good! -mark

Breakfast is pretty good... side of Bacon is worth it, but you'll want to split it. :-) -LocalTwit

There are worse ways to start your day than with the grilled cheese and hickory smoked tomato soup. -Drew

Get the Fried Chicken or the Whole Hog -Steven
