The gourmet coffee company has been multiplying throughout the Bay, but as charming as the Hayes Valley original garage outpost is, the Mint Plaza location was BB's coming-out party. [Eater 38 Member] -Eater

This cafe is like second home to the techies hammering away at nearby co-working spaces, such as Hub SoMa. Come prepared to wait for your coffee--and strike up a conversation. -Fast Company

A great stop for hand-crafted artisanal coffee and small breakfast options. As recommended by Travel Channel host, Anthony Bourdain. -Travel Channel

Sometimes I look at all that glassware and equipment and wonder if they turn this place into a meth lab at night. -Rob

Can't make up your mind what to get? Do what the Canadians do, and order BOTH an iced coffee and a latte. -Zach

Arguably the best gourmet coffee in San Francisco and/or the world. There's always a line but oh so worth it. If it's too busy, you can take the coffee and stroll around Mint Plaza. -Morgan

The mint tea here is off the chain good. Make sure you stir it though! -Tristan

This itty bitty kiosk always has a line of excited patrons in front of it, patiently waiting for their creamy lattes or New Orleans iced coffees. It's worth the wait. -Mazda

Try a Gibraltar...it's #28 on 7x7's Big Eat SF 2010. -7x7 Magazine

The New Orleans iced coffee with soy is epic, but the breakfast here is also amazing (poached eggs on toast). If you can't stay for breakfast, get the granola. Best ever. -Katherin

Order a SG-120. -Will

You haven't suffered enough for your coffee of you haven't waited at least 20 minutes. -Jonathan

Sit at the counter with the glass pane to the left of register and watch the coffee brew. It's hypnotizing. -Tina Hui

The plain coffee is the specialty here and only $2. Skip the espresso bar, but be sure to try the food. This location is often overlooked as a great spot for a healthy lunch. -Doc
