The founder is from North Carolina and the biscuits and other dishes are as authentic as you'd want, with a few added embellishments. I recommend the Reggie, even for breakfast. -Valentino

Right on: First memory of Portland. Biscuit, fried chicken, gravy, and family. -huiline

While most folks dig the Reggie Deluxe, we think the gravy is too much. So our go-to is The Reggie – Fried Chicken, Cheese, Fried Egg on a Buttermilk Biscuit! -CITY GRIT

Come with an empty stomach and full ambition. Their grits is one of the best outside of the South and as a Southerner, I would know. Also slap some chicken on the Regina for an added hat tip. -DANGER

Get the Reggie Deluxe -Ernest

Very tasty biscuit sandwiches. Also a vegetarian option for biscuits and gravy. -Mary

The Reggie Deluxe is all I ever want to eat for breakfast ever again. -Will

Reggie Deluxe. Do it. -Joshua

If you're going to get a Regina, you might as well add fried chicken to it. -Ian

It lives up to the hype! Featured on several TV networks and magazines - fun atmosphere and GREAT biscuits. -Hob

Actually pretty good. Long line but wait wasn't bad. The Reggie Deluxe and Shrimp & grits. Grits were not instant but not sure what Greek grits are oh well. -Tone

Bathroom code is 153 don't forget to hit enter -Dan

Build-your-own biscuits! Though coffee here isn’t my favorite. -Benjamin

Huge cinnamon rolls, great pimento cheese, and some of the best apple cider I've ever had. -Ally
